Anne Marie Howard

Anne Marie Howard,64, of Venice, Florida, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on April 4th, 2024. Anne was born on August 13th, 1959, in Farmington Hills, Michigan, to her parents, William and Janet (Carrier) DeForge. Anne earned a master’s degree in public administration from the University of West Florida in 2015. She was very passionate about her job and known as a stubbornly persistent protector of taxpayer money. She worked as a Senior Claims Adjustor for Sarasota County for over 23 years. Anne was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and she will forever be remembered for her strength and perseverance during her 1 year battle. She was a true fighter. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Janet DeForge. Anne is survived by her loving husband, Roy Howard of Venice, FL; daughter, Katie Nylander of San Diego, CA; stepdaughter, Julie Howard of Glendale, CA; stepson, Scott Howard of Phoenix, AZ. A Memorial Service to celebrate Anne’s life will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, April 12th, 2024, at Farley Funeral Home, 265 Nokomis Avenue South, Venice, Florida 34285.
