Thomas Harold Webb
April 8th, 1941 - October 24th, 2018
Thomas Harold Webb, 77, died Wednesday, October 24, 2018. He was the son of Harold Whidden Webb and Alma Watkins Webb. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Daniel Webb. Also surviving are two sons, Stan (Ashley) Webb and Steve (Taryn) Webb; two stepsons, Danny Rivers and Steve (Becky) Rivers. He had four grandchildren, Mary Jane Webb, Magnolia Webb, Savannah Rivers and Dylan Rivers. He is further survived by a sister, Sara (John) Kipp; and three brothers, David (Andrea), Daniel (Beverly) and Phillip (Rayetta) Webb. Mr. Webb was retired from Campbell County School System, served on the Lynchburg City School Board, was an elder of Quaker Memorial Presbyterian Church and involved in many philanthropic activities. A memorial service will be held Friday, October 26, 2018, at 12 p.m. in Quaker Memorial Presbyterian Church with a reception following. Those wishing to make to make memorials are invited to consider the Tom Webb Scholarship Fund at Jubilee Family Development Center, 1512 Florida Ave., Lynchburg, VA 24501 or a charity of choice.
