Jesse Jefferson Moorhead (USAF Ret.) of Pendleton, SC and Mary Ellen Thomas Moorhead of Clifton Forge, VA. She was proceeded in death by her parents, sister Marilyn Elizabeth Moorhead, and brother Jesse Jefferson Moorhead II (Jeff). Sharon is survived by her only child Alexis Marilyn (Troy) Bohrer of Atlantic Beach, FL, step-granddaughter Amanda Bohrer of Columbia SC, and her devoted best friend and “partner in crime”, brother, John David Moorhead of Lynchburg, VA., nephew Jesse Jefferson (Jerry Cohen) Moorhead II (Jeff) of San Antonio, TX and nieces Jana (Mike) Moorhead-Gravitt of San Antonio, TX, Jesse Rose (Mike) Ruggeri of Austin, TX, great niece Lauren Moorhead of San Antonio, TX and many loving cousins. She had a charming personality with a healthy dose of mischievousness, humor, and style. Sharon worked in secretarial positions throughout her life. She especially loved working at Liberty University where she enjoyed her work study students, going to convocation and grabbing a strawberry ice cream on her way back to her desk. Sharon was a member of many civic organizations while living in Ashland, KY and was a Christian who taught her daughter the importance of a relationship with Jesus Christ as well as serving others. A private burial will be held at Spring Hill Cemetery on June 27th at 11 am under the care of Duigid Funeral Home – Wigginton Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Angelwood Inc.- a non-profit agency serving children, adults and seniors with disabilities and may be made online at www.angelwoodjax.org or by mail to Angelwood, Inc., P.O.
