Lawrence Nida Marsh, Jr, 92, of Lynchburg, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022 at The Summit. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Audrey White Marsh. Born March 25, 1929 in Lynchburg. He was a son of the late Lawrence Nida Marsh and Myrtle Wingfield Marsh. He was retired as an Architectural Hardware Consultant for over forty years and was a long-time member of Quaker Memorial Presbyterian Church where he sang in the choir and as a soloist. He was also a long time member of the Lynchburg Lions Club. In addition to his wife, Audrey, he is survived by one son, Gary W.Marsh and his wife, Josephine, of Phoenix, AZ; one daughter, Vicki Marsh Jennings and her husband, Loyd, of Elon, VA; one sister, Betty M. Renfroe, of GA; two granddaughters, Jamie Jennings Clarke (Grayson). Carmen Jennings Bland (Tyler); two step-grandchildren, Peyton Young (Kristy) and Marshall Young; four great-grandchildren, Grant Clarke, Davis Clarke, Anderson Bland and Camden Bland; two step-great grandchildren, Hudson and London Young. He was preceded in death by one sister, Gloria Marsh Minnick. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Quaker Memorial Presbyterian Church, 5810 Fort Ave., Lynchburg, VA 24502 or a charity of your choice.
