Patrick “Wayne” Weitzel, II, 54, of Evington, VA, passed away Friday, November 24, 2023. Born March 16, 1969 in Fort Riley, Kansas, he was the son of the late Patricia Filkosky Weitzel. He owned and operated Waynes Floors & More, LLC. He is survived by his wife, Callie Baker; his daughter, Briana Marie Stone (Deb) of Ogden, UT; his daughter Krista Linnae Bucholz of Salinas CA; his son, Casey Russell Bucholz (Emily) of Casper, WY; his daughter, Kaitlin Sue Royos of Ogden, UT; his daughter Kylie Ranee Bucholz (Drew) of Casper, WY; his son, Patrick Wayne Weitzel, III of Evington, VA; two sisters, Pamala Elaine Henson (Norm), of Fallon, NV and Athena Diana Bobbitt (Pete) of Evington, VA; In-laws Chris Jones, Micheal Baker, Joseph Baker and Priscilla McDonald; six grandchildren, Sebastian, Riley, Dakota, Aria, Nora and Olive; nieces and nephews; Quinn (his side kick), David, Jonathan, Samantha, Abbie, Danielle, Lizzie, Jack, Charlie, Felicity, and Nicholas. And many friends who he considered family. He is also survived by his special furry friend, "Buddy". In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sabrina Ann Weitzel. He lit up the room when he walked in, his huge smile and bright eyes were well known. He never met a stranger. He gave the best hugs. He always loved spending time with his friends and family, loved floating down the Staunton River with a cold one, and floating in the pool after work to soak up the sun. He loved taking his Harley out for a cruise. And throwing a few discs now and then. He loved crocs, converted many anti-croc friends. He owned at least 5 pairs and was always on the look out for more. He was fixing up an old house he found, “The Outhouse” as he named it. He put so much love, time, energy and maybe even a few tears into it. Had a vision and went to work to make it a reality. It is not complete but his family will do their best to make his vision a reality in honor of the great man that he was. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel.
