Gary Richard (Fergie) Ferguson, 70, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly at home on March 14, 2018. Gary was born December 30, 1947, in Town of Barton, New York to parents William and Laura Whitaker Ferguson. Gary attended Sayre Area High School and Broome Technical Community College. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era as a medical record specialist. He separated honorably and became an accountant where he specialized in financial management. Gary founded the accounting clinic and has served the Colorado Springs community for many years. He was once president of the local Kiwanis chapter and was heavily involved in the local deaf community as an interpreter. Gary was a staunch Broncos fan and a true American patriot. He was a pillar of the community and will be missed by many. Gary is survived by his daughters and sons in laws; Jodi and Mike Mosher of Colorado Springs, Cindy and Charles Courtney of Colorado Springs, Julie and Jason Reeves of Great Falls Montana and his son and daughter in law; Brian and Mary Beth Ferguson of Greenville Tennesse and fifteen grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister and brother in law Jacqueline and Gene Hawkins of Binghamton, New York and his brother William Ferguson of St. Petersburg, Florida. Predeceased by parents; William and Laura Ferguson, sons Jason and Jeffery Ferguson and granddaughter Jordyn Adams.
