Francisco “Pops” Gurule, 74, of Lakewood, passed away in his home on Friday, June 3, 2011. Born in Las Vegas, NM on June 1, 1937, he enjoyed the majority of his life in Colorado. He served in the Army and was employed by the Postal Service for over 17 years. He is survived by his sisters, Vangie Adams, Barbara Clements, ex-wife Janice Norden, son Frank Gurule, stepdaughter Shannon Montoya, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services to be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 10:30, in Staging area B. Posted by All Veterans Funeral & Cremation.
