Paul Edward Gogan, age 48 of Denver, CO, was born March 19, 1961 and passed away Sunday, October 18, 2009 in Denver. Paul was born in Fairfield, CA, raised in Aurora and Montbello, CO. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1980, and served briefly in the United States Army. Paul worked in the security field and enjoyed science fiction. Paul was a loving son, brother and uncle. He also had a love for computers and his pet cockatiel Sassy. Son of John Gogan (deceased) and Mary (Gogan) Walker. Paul is survived by his Mother, Mary (Gogan) Walker of Northglenn, two sisters, Lorna Nevans and her husband Mike of Wheatridge, his twin sister Vickie Sorrentino and her husband Robert of Westminster, two half brothers, Ronald (Lee) Cron and his wife Eileen of Altoona, IA, Tony Cron and his wife Karla of Yakima, WA, five nephews, seven nieces and several grandnephews and grandnieces. Paul will be remembered for his abundant sense of humor and ongoing generosity to his family and others. He will always be admired for his strength in facing a challenging life over the years. Services will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 11:30 am at Spirit of Christ Catholic Community Chapel, 7400 West 80th Ave., Arvada, CO. Lunch will be served immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Paul’s name to The American Lung Association or The Colorado Aids Project.
