April 4th, 1963 - July 16th, 2014
Born April 4, 1963 in Denver, Colorado and passed away July 16, 2014 at his home in Northglenn, Colorado. Richard was preceded in death by his father Richard George Herzog and mother Susan Eileen (Blair) Herzog. Richard is survived by his sister Therese Eileen Herzog of Broomfield CO, Brother John Michael Herzog of Westminster, CO. Richard is also survived by his sister-in-law Patricia Ann (Overdier) Herzog, nephew Gavin Michael Herzog and niece Chloe Beth Herzog all of Westminster, CO. Richard worked construction specializing in finish work. He loved spending time in the outdoor, camping, fishing, mountain biking, canoeing, white-water rafting, skiing and snowmobiling. Richard was also an avid Bronco’s, Rockies’ and Avalanche fan. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday July 30, 2014 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church 900 W. Midway Blvd, Broomfield Colorado, with a reception to follow at the Church, internment will be at 2:00 P.M. July 30, 2014 at Mount Olivet Cemetery West 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO.
