Jim Hooker, a long time resident of Colorado Springs left the “Long Gray Line” on September 30, 2011, he was 84. He was born in Medford, Massachusetts on November 12, 1926 to Dr. James F. hooker and Grace (White) Hooker who preceded him in death. Jim graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, N.Y. in 1948. His military career of nearly three decades took him on many assignments across the globe. Upon retirement in 1976, from the United States Army, he brought his family to Colorado Springs. Jim is survived by his wife Ann, son James III (Deborah), sister Lois, a niece and nephews. He was greatly loved by family and friends and will be terribly missed by all. It was his desire to be buried at his beloved West Point (TBD).
