David C. "Putt" Putnam LEXINGTON:Funeral service for David C. "Putt" Putnam, 47, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011, in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, officiated by Rev. Dr. Richard Wilson and Rev. Roger Snipes. Interment will follow at Woodridge Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be John Jarrett, Nathan Williams, Scott Baskin, Everette Sox, Patrick Able, Jamie Burroughs, Jamie Shepherd and Todd Feaster. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. this (FRIDAY) evening in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Pets Inc., P.O. Box 6394, West Columbia, SC 29171. Mr. Putnam went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Born in Charlotte, NC, he was a son of Shirley Dilling Putnam and the late Forrest C. Putnam. He was self employed and managed Putnam Rental Properties; he was a huge Gamecock fan and a Jimmy Buffet "Parrothead". Survivors include his wife, Jackie Putnam; and his mother, Shirley Putnam both of Lexington; brothers, Steven F. Putnam (Deborah) of West Columbia and Daniel J.
