Sharon Kelly, 62, of Columbia, SC passed away on March 10, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 5, 1956 to Kay Gaines and Herbert Gaines. Sharon enjoyed riding her bike and was a joy to be around. Sharon was employed by AutoZone for 25 years and was known as, “the legend”. Sharon is survived by her husband of 46 years, Alvin Kelly; her mother, Kay Gaines; and a sister, Barbara Gaines. Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Gaines and brother, Robert Gaines. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
