Heidi Ann Beckwith
February 21st, 1971 - April 26th, 2019
Heidi Ann Beckwith, 48, of Columbia, South Carolina passed away unexpectedly on April 26, 2019. She was born on February 21, 1971 in Ashtabula, Ohio to the late Sandra Colby. Heidi graduated from Ashtabula High School with honors in 1989 and was also inducted into the National Honor Society. She was an honor graduate from Columbia College in 1993 with a degree in Accounting. She was faithfully employed for 21 years with Heathwood Hall Episcopal School. Heidi loved to travel especially to the beach where she enjoyed family and reading a good book. Heidi loved to watch and play tennis. She adored her nieces and nephews. Heidi was very involved in supporting breast cancer research and foundations in memory of her mother. She was involved in giving to many other charities and memorials. Heidi will be remembered for her kind and loyal spirit as well as her strength. She will also be remembered for finding the most perfect memes to post to make her family and friends laugh and feel loved. Heidi is survived by her brother, Patrick Beckwith; sisters, Jennifer Beckwith and Gail (Wes) Colby-Frazier; her step-father, William Colby; her nieces and nephews, Chelsea, Joshua, Alyssa, Julia, Jackson, Evan, Lyndon and Neveah; aunts and uncles, many cousins and friends. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Vivian Clemson. A Memorial Service will be held at Seacoast Church, 631 Sparkleberry Lane, Columbia, SC 29229 on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11:00AM. Pastor Matt Benton will be officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation at www.cancerresearch.org.

Greenlawn Memorial Park is one of Columbia's most historic perpetual care cemeteries. This gorgeous setting combines serenity, natural beauty, and diligent care for generations of families. North Lake, located in the center of our park, offers a water feature and is the site of many local events, including an annual Easter sunrise service, a Greenlawn tradition for over 50 years. The park also has a veteran's section, private family estates, a columbarium with niches for cremated remains, and an incredible granite mausoleum....
