Cayce - Frances Greene King , 91 of Cayce , South Carolina passed away November 15, 2019 . She was born on May 1, 1928 in Greenville , South Carolina to the late Thurmond and Lonia (Bryant) Greene . She was widowed after 68 years of marriage to her beloved husband, Glenn D. King. She graduated from Parker High School in Greenville and worked for Sears in both Greenville and Columbia. She retired after 22 years working for the Strasburgs at Associated Distributing Company. She was a member of State Street Baptist Church and the Bethany Sunday School Class. Frances was a best friend and loving mother to her daughter , Lynda K. Hoffman (Van). She cherished her three Hoffman grandsons, Eric (Sommer) of West Columbia, Zack (Lauren) of Savannah, GA and Chad of Cayce. She dearly loved her five Hoffman great-grandchildren, Rileigh, Chloe, Leah, Walker and Grayson. She is survived by a sister Doris Kelly of Taylors, SC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Christine Bagwell and a brother Melvin Greene. Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 18, 2019 at State Street Baptist Church 1420 State Street, Cayce, SC with burial to follow in Woodridge Memorial Park 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC. Visitation will be at the church from 1:00 PM until 1:50 PM.
