Diane Christofoli Reynolds
October 27th, 1948 - August 23rd, 2020
Diane Christofoli Reynolds, 71, of Columbia, SC died on August 23, 2020. Ms. Reynolds was born to Pietro Joseph and Carolyn Emelia Christofoli. She was preceded in death by Pietro Joseph and Carolyn Christofoli. Diane was loving mother and grandmother. She loved her granddaughter, Laurel, with all of her heart and was very proud of her. Diane also adored her parents and cared for them in their later years. She is now with them and with Jesus. Diane’s favorite time of year was Christmas time, and she especially loved her mom’s Christmas dinner. Diane was her son’s hero, defender, and champion. She was always there for him. Diane also dearly loved her younger brother and sister. Beth Cain and her cousin Anna Louise were her dearest friends. She was generous and kind and enjoyed helping people. She always had something positive to say and to share with others. Her cat, Little Girl, brought her much joy. Diane also had a deep appreciation for nature. She loved when it snowed, and she enjoyed visiting the lake and watching birds. Most of all, Diane loved the Lord Jesus and often times told her son to “know that the Lord is always with you”. Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." Jeremiah 17, 7-8 "Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit." Rev. 1:5-6 “to him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father-to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen. John 3:16"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life”. Diane is survived by her son, Wayne Douglas Reynolds Jr; daughter-in-law, Louise Barron Reynolds; and granddaughter, Laurel Napier Reynolds. She is also survived by her brother, Joe Christofoli; sister-in-law, Laura Christofoli; and her sister, Marie Linna and Marie’s husband, Ron Linna. Diane’s nieces and nephews are: Tina Clifton, Pete Christofoli, and Michael Becker. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Faith Presbyterian Church, 1811 Dutch Fork Rd, Irmo, SC 29063. Greenlawn Memorial Park
Greenlawn Memorial Park is one of Columbia's most historic perpetual care cemeteries. This gorgeous setting combines serenity, natural beauty, and diligent care for generations of families. North Lake, located in the center of our park, offers a water feature and is the site of many local events, including an annual Easter sunrise service, a Greenlawn tradition for over 50 years. The park also has a veteran's section, private family estates, a columbarium with niches for cremated remains, and an incredible granite mausoleum....
