Glenn Allen Kern, 70, resided in Fruita, Colorado passed in his sleep during his morning nap, on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. Glenn was born on December 8, 1947, in Denver, Colorado to George and Bernice Kern. Glenn proudly served in the U.S. Navy from June 16, 1969, to October 31, 1972. Glenn married the love of his life Janet Sue Livermore on April 27, 1996. Glenn’s passion was camping, fishing, bowling, and riding his Harley Davidson every chance he had to do so. Glenn is survived by brother George Kern, sister Karen Lena, brother Gary Kern, niece Erin Lena, niece Katie Lena, wife Janet Sue Kern, three stepsons Christopher Roach, Joshua Roach, and Bryan Roach, grandchildren Autumn Cochran, Levi Roach, Austyn Roach, Alexis Roach. Services for Glenn will be on October 23, 2018, at Ft. Logan National Cemetery @ 1 p.m. with full military honors. There will be a gathering after the service at Monaghan’s Bar & Grill located at 3889 South King St. Denver, CO 80236 @ 2 p.m. A taco bar will be provided. Drinks will be available through the cash bar.
