Anna Klein

It is with great sadness that the family of Anna Maria Klein announce her passing on 5 December 2018 at the age of 67 in Colorado Springs, Co. While in the embrace of her loving husband Bruce, she was called to heaven by God. Preceded in death by her father Alois and mother Anna, she is survived by her husband of 40 years Bruce, daughters Sandra and Kristie and grandsons Eric and Devin. Born in Wertingen , Germany and raised in Welden , Germany. Anna met Bruce Klein and they married in Augsburg, Germany September 21, 1978. For the next 20 years Anna, Sandra and Kristi joined Bruce as an Army family moving from Germany, to Kansas, Hawaii, Germany again then finally settling in Colorado Springs, Co. Anna loved spending time traveling to Maui and Germany, with Maui being her favorite place to vacation and shop. Regardless of location Anna had a passion for shopping and enjoyed sharing that with her daughters and grandsons. She also loved to cook and made one of the best potato salads around! Although a very private person, Anna loved her family and spending as much time with them as possible. For the past 2 years, Anna made a warm and loving home for Hans AKA “Hansi” a small Papillon/Chihuahua mix adopted from the Pike’s Peak Humane Society. Donations can be made in support of other animals in need of rescue to the PPHS via their website. As per her wishes a private interment ceremony will be held at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, in Colorado Springs on December 14, 2018 at 1:00 pm
