Frances Simpson Roberts
October 21st, 1934 - January 23rd, 2021
Frances Simpson Roberts was born October 21, 1934 in Columbia, SC and passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021. She was the daughter of the late James Francis Simpson, Jr. and Ginevra M. Rippy. Ms. Roberts was predeceased by her sister, M. Carolyn Simpson. She is survived by her sister, Ann S. Price; her son, David A. Roberts Jr. (Dee); Kimberly M. Roberts, Paul M. Roberts (Christine), Barry G. Roberts (Neicy) and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Hopkins. Ms. Roberts was a Sunday School teacher for most of her life. She was the Manager of McEntire Federal Credit Union for 27 years. Visitation will be at Thompson Funeral Home, Leesburg Road on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at Beulah Baptist Church on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 2:00 pm. Donations in Ms. Robert's memory may be made to Compassion International, Samaritan’s Purse or Beulah Baptist Church.

North Lake, located in the center of our park, offers a water feature and is the site of many local events, including an annual Easter sunrise service, a Greenlawn tradition for over 50 years.
