George Allen McCaskey
November 19th, 1928 - August 18th, 2022
In Loving Memory of George Allen McCaskey George Allen McCaskey, 93, of Columbia, SC passed away on August 18th, 2022. He was the son of the late Clyde and Edna McCaskey, and was born on November 19th, 1928. He retired from DuPont. George was married to the late Polly Gray McCaskey, and although they had no children, he left behind loving brothers and sisters, and a magnitude of nieces and nephews. His brothers are the late Leroy, Clyde, Sr., Marlyn, and Maurice, and his sisters are the late Mabel, Anna, Jane, and Edna. He will be surly missed by all who knew him. The family would like to sincerely thank his loving caregiver, Linda, and her aides. A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 23 at 11am at Richland Presbyterian Cemetery in Gadsden, South Carolina. A celebration of life will follow.

Greenlawn Memorial Park is one of Columbia's most historic perpetual care cemeteries. This gorgeous setting combines serenity, natural beauty, and diligent care for generations of families. North Lake, located in the center of our park, offers a water feature and is the site of many local events, including an annual Easter sunrise service, a Greenlawn tradition for over 50 years. The park also has a veteran's section, private family estates, a columbarium with niches for cremated remains, and an incredible granite mausoleum....
