Peter Brazeal
July 18th, 1943 - October 18th, 2012
Brazeal, Peter M. July 18, 1943 – October 18, 2012 Peter Michael “Mike” Brazeal, 69, of Englewood, CO passed away on October 18, 2012 at 6:09am of a heart attack at his home. Mike had been a resident of Colorado for over 30 years. He was born on July 18, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri to Earl and Mildred Brazeal, both deceased. Mike was raised by Mildred and his step-father, James Forrester, who also preceded him in death. Mike joined the Army soon after graduating high school, achieving the rank of E4 Rifleman Specialist. He served in Germany in 1963 during the Vietnam War. He was soon discharged and went home to Kansas where he worked in construction and started a family. Mike also worked and lived in Ft. Worth, TX before coming to Colorado. In Colorado, Mike worked with Elite Logistics and All Imports for the past 11 years. He selflessly donated monthly to St. Jude’s Hospital for Kids and requested to be an organ donor upon his death. Mike lived a simple life and enjoyed the simple things life offered, like poker, horses, and enjoying the company of friends. Despite his many trials, Mike’s greatest accomplishment was seeing his daughters become sisters. Mike gave his life to Jesus shortly before his death and now joins his heavenly father in watching over them. Mike is survived by his 4 daughters and their husbands, 1 step-daughter, 4 grandsons and 3 granddaughters, his estranged wife, Francis, his older brother, Charles, a younger half-brother and half-sister, his aunt and Mike’s roommate of 20+ years and her family. Memorial services will be held on December 4th, 2012 at 12:00pm at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO 80235, in staging area C. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up to help pay for his funeral. Any donations can be made at any Wells Fargo branch to the Memorial Fund of Peter Michael Brazeal care of Teresa Cole.
