Ronald "Ronny" Dean Brown
June 19th, 1964 - December 16th, 2023
Ronald Dean Brown, 59, of West Columbia, South Carolina, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023, with his loving family at his side. He was born on June 19, 1964, in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Jimmy and Martha (Stephens) Brown. Ronny, as he was known, married the former Sandra Mayle on November 19, 1988, and they shared a wonderful life together. Ronny had a tremendous love for his family, and enjoyed cooking, fishing and being on the lake. Ronny is survived by: His wife of 35 years Sandy M. Brown; son Ryan Brown; mother Martha S. Brown; brother Paul Brown; sister Tara Allison; granddaughter Elizabeth Grace Brown and other family members and friends who will miss him dearly. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 3:00PM-4:00PM. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

North Lake, located in the center of our park, offers a water feature and is the site of many local events, including an annual Easter sunrise service, a Greenlawn tradition for over 50 years. The park also has a veteran's section, private family estates, a columbarium with niches for cremated remains, and an incredible granite mausoleum....
