She is survived by her son Carmine Lombardo,daughter in law Linda Lombardo, grandsons Joseph and Jonathan, and her best friend Roberta Cammacho. Ayako Lombardo passed away on January 20th 2016. She was born on November 21st 1928 in Kyoto Japan. Her parents were Nobushige and Kikue Nagahama. Her parents passed away when she was eight years old. She then had to grow up in an orphanage. She then had to face many tragic events in World War Two. She met her husband Joe Lombardo who was stationed in Japan. They fell in love and were married on October 16th 1957. Shortly after, Ayako came to the states and became a United States Citizen in 1966. She lived in Hawaii when she gave birth to her only son Carmine Lombardo in 1965. They then moved to Denver Colorado where she lived out the rest of her life. Ayako was an amazing seamstress she fixed every ones clothes. Ayako was also a Big sports fan, she loved football. The Broncos were her favorite team. Ayako became a widow in 1987 when her Husband Joe Lombardo passed away. She became a grandmother in 1996 to Joseph Lombardo and again in 2004 to Jonathan Lombardo. She was a loving and caring grandma. Ayako was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1996 she fought it and survived it for nineteen years. Unfortunately the cancer came back,she was told on December 1st 2015, she was then taken by God on Wednesday January 20th 2016. It happened so fast and she was so strong and at peace. Ayako was an extraordinary woman, she was the nicest,sweetest most generous kind woman, everyone who new her loved her. She touched and inspired so many peoples lives and will be missed.
