Gregory Alexander Sharp, Jr.
September 9th, 1990 - February 13th, 2024
Greg Sharp, known formally as Gregory Alexander Sharp, Jr., passed away on February 13, 2024 at the age of 33 years old. Greg was born in Columbia, SC to parents Alec and Cindy Sharp. He worked for the City of Columbia Fire Department for 11 years before he owned and operated Sharp Contruction Company. He was a proud and loving father of four children. He is survived by both of his parents; grandparents, Bob and Mary Anne Sharp; siblings Laine (Donovon), Davis, Harper, Spencer (Lillian), and Reagan; former wife, Jessica and their children Peyton, Tripp, Linley, and Lincoln; and numerous other family members and friends. The memorial service will be held at Lebanon United Methodist Church (10220 Garners Ferry Rd. Eastover, SC 29044) on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at 2pm. Flowers or any other honoring may be sent to Thompson Funeral Home.

Greenlawn Memorial Park is one of Columbia's most historic perpetual care cemeteries. This gorgeous setting combines serenity, natural beauty, and diligent care for generations of families. North Lake, located in the center of our park, offers a water feature and is the site of many local events, including an annual Easter sunrise service, a Greenlawn tradition for over 50 years. The park also has a veteran's section, private family estates, a columbarium with niches for cremated remains, and an incredible granite mausoleum....
