Arnold "AJ" Lee Jacobs
February 22nd, 1973 - May 20th, 2024
Arnold Lee (AJ) Jacobs, 51, of Columbia, South Carolina, passed away May 20, 2024 at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital Columbia, South Carolina. He was born on February 22, 1973, in Columbia, South Carolina to Rodney and the late Margie (Johns) Jacobs. AJ had a gregarious personality. He had an amazing sense of humor, always keeping those around him laughing. AJ was a dedicated roofer and enjoyed every day he got to go to work. He was known for his quality and attention to detail. When AJ was not working, he could be found spending time with his friends, playing good hearted pranks and could have earned a medal if celebrating with friends if it was an Olympic event. Even though he was outgoing, AJ had a wonderful heart and did not know a stranger. He would and often did, help those less fortunate in their times of troubles. AJ's beautiful spirit will be missed by those he loved and those that loved him. AJ is survived by a very large family of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and extended family members to treasure his memory He was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Lee Jacobs. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209, Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 6:00PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 3:00PM. Interment will be held at a later time and will be announced.
