March 14th, 1927 - March 6th, 2016
Edna R. Stinson, 88, of Gilbert, South Carolina passed away peacefully on March 6, 2016 in Lexington, South Carolina. She was born in Georgiana, Alabama to the late James William and Elizabeth Ethel Pierce Reeves. Edna was a member of the Mt. Horeb UMC for many years. She enjoyed visiting her friends and family. She enjoyed cooking a "Big" holiday dinner with her family, especially with her grand kids. Edna is survived by her daughter, Debra Goldman (Jim) of Gilbert, SC; step son, Arthur (Wanda) Stinson of Mobile, AL; step daughter, Judy McClammy of Theodore, AL; as well as her 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Ned Stinson; and brothers, Roy Reeves, Norman Reeves and Jerome Reeves. Interment will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens in Theodre, AL on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 12 Noon.

Greenlawn Memorial Park is one of Columbia's most historic perpetual care cemeteries. This gorgeous setting combines serenity, natural beauty, and diligent care for generations of families. North Lake, located in the center of our park, offers a water feature and is the site of many local events, including an annual Easter sunrise service, a Greenlawn tradition for over 50 years.
