Leo "Tripp" F. Thomas
June 24th, 1977 - January 3rd, 2016
Leo F."Tripp" Thomas III, 38, of Columbia passed away January 3, 2016. He was born on June 24, 1977 to the late Leo F. Thomas Jr. and Susan (Dickert) Thomas. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Leo F. Thomas Sr. and Corneila Able Thomas of Columbia, maternal grandparents, Lera Duncan Dickert and Daniel Cannon Dickert of Newberry. "Tripp" is survived by his sister Lera "Lee" Thomas Pollard and brother in law, Shannon; two nephews, Thomas John "TJ" Pollard and Wesley Shannon Pollard. The family would like to thank the staff, caregivers and extended family at Midlands Center for the love and excellent care they provided since he was 11 years old. A graveside service will be at Southland Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Midlands Center, 8301 Farrow Road Columbia, SC 29203.

Greenlawn Memorial Park is one of Columbia's most historic perpetual care cemeteries. This gorgeous setting combines serenity, natural beauty, and diligent care for generations of families. North Lake, located in the center of our park, offers a water feature and is the site of many local events, including an annual Easter sunrise service, a Greenlawn tradition for over 50 years. The park also has a veteran's section, private family estates, a columbarium with niches for cremated remains, and an incredible granite mausoleum....
