Helen Frances Wyatt

Helen Frances Wyatt, 82, of Columbia, South Carolina passed away December 4, 2015. She was born on February 24, 1933 in Norman Park , Georgia to William A. Willis and Rosa Lee Powell Willis. Helen was a devoted Christian and mother. Helen was a retired registered nurse at Baptist Hospital in Columbia, SC. She shared the same loving spirit in caring for her patients as she did with her children and family. She was a member of Spring Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church. Helen is survived by her children Karen (Lee) Mathieu, Vicky Poarch, Darlene Boggs, Heidi (Joe) Whetstine, William (Rene) Wyatt and Richard Wyatt, 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, a sister Margaret Dudar of Albany, NY, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Milton D. Wyatt, two sisters and one brother. The family will receive friends at Spring Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church, 109 Roseberry Ln., Columbia, SC on Tuesday December 8, 2015 from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM at the church. Interment will follow immediately at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
