Sil Hee Paik, 92, of Lexington, South Carolina passed away October 23, 2015 at home. She was born on December 12, 1922 in Korea to Jin K. Chang and Hwak S. Cha. She was a member of Korean Community Presbyterian Church. She was a woman of faith, grace and prayer. She was preceded in death by her husband Myung Up Paik. Sil Hee is survived by her sons, Jin Young Paik (Jung Hei Paik) of Columbia, SC and Chan Young Paik (Sun Young Paik) of Chicago, IL; daughters, Hannah Paik (Dong Soo Kim) of Richmond, VA, Chung Hee Um (Sung Jin Um) of Reston, VA, Aeyoung Paik (Ki Ho Ko) of Lexington, SC, In Young Lee (Byung Sun Lee) of Los Angeles, CA and Miyoung Paik of Lexington, SC; 14 grandchildren, Suze Villano (Michael Villano), Stephanie Kim, Chung Hyun Park (Jin H. Park), Chung Yoon Park (Jin Park), Tae Won Um (Hee Jin Um), Dong Joon Ko (Yuna Ko), Chang Joon Ko (Su Hyun Ko), Jean Neely (Michael Neely), Amy Kim (Kevin Kim), David Paik, Grace Paik, Daniel Paik, Jeanie Paik and Michael Paik; 17 Great Grandchildren, Marisa Villano, Mike Villano, Anthony Villano, Peter Villano, Maria Wass, Julia Wass, Joseph Park, Elaine Park, Rachel Park, Samuel Park, Luke Um, Yohan Ko, Eunbee Ko, Grace Ko, Joshua Neely, Aliya Kim and KJ Kim. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Rd. at 7 PM on Sunday October 25, 2015 for a wake service followed by visitation at 8 PM. Funeral services will be at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Monday October 26, 2015 at 11 AM with Pastor Dong Yung Kim officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park immediately following services.
