Ned "Chris" Christopher Elkins
June 1st, 1973 - October 13th, 2015
Ned Christopher "Chris" Elkins, 42, of Cayce passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. He was born on June 1, 1973 in Richland County to Wilma Gartman Elkins and the late Ned Wesley Elkins. He was a member of Crossroads Outreach Center. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving companion, Amanda Mattox; a son, Christopher Richard Elkins; two brothers, Edward (Cindy) Serinsky and David T. Sr. (Ruth) Serinsky; six nephews, two nieces and fourteen great nieces and nephews. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Serinsky. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, October 16, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery, 2001 Whetstone Road, Swansea, SC 29160, where the land for the church and cemetery was donated by his ancestors the Jeffcoat Family.
