July 19th, 1923 - March 13th, 2018
West Columbia - Jessie Ray Cook, 94 ½, wife of the late O.L. Cook, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018. She was born in Saluda County on July 19, 1923 to the late Willie G. and Blanch Black Charles. She was of the Methodist Faith. She is survived by a son, Bobby Crapps, Sr. (Linda); a grandson, Link Crapps (Jamie); four great grandchildren, Tres Van Crapps, Lauren Berry, Chloe Crapps and Hayden Kirkland. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Huey Charles; and a sister, Bernice Cobb. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 16, 2018, from 1:00-2:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington on Augusta Road. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Celestial Memorial Gardens.
