November 3rd, 1950 - January 8th, 2015
James Stephen Morrow, 64, of Lexington, went to be with his Heavenly Father, Thursday, January 8, 2015 at his home. Born November 3, 1950, in Tampa, FL, he was the son of the late James A. and Virginia (Sherer) Morrow. A carpenter by trade, Steve most recently had his own Tree Removal Service, which he operated for more than eight years. Prior to his retirement, he also drove a school bus for Lexington School District 2 for five years. Mr. Morrow is survived by his wife of more than 24 years, Janice H. Morrow; three sisters, Julia Wadsworth, of Alabama, Debbie Morrow, of Lexington and Amy Jetter, of Washington; two nieces and one nephew, as well as numerous cousins. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 P.M., on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Calvary Chapel of Lexington, 1156 Barr Road, Lexington, SC 29072 with Pastor John Hoppe officiating. Interment will be private and held at a later date. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M., prior to the service at Calvary Chapel of Lexington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the U Turn for Christ Ranch at Calvary Chapel of Lexington; or to the Music Ministry at Calvary Chapel of Lexington. Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park is assisting the family.
