David Gabriel Ponds of West Columbia was born on Friday, November 24, 2017. He lived for just over an hour before Jesus called him home. He was 6.5 inches long and weighed 3.2 ounces. He was the baby boy of Joseph Anthony and Judy Scales Ponds. In addition to his parents, David is survived by his big brother, Isaac Anthony; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Ponds and Mrs. Margaret T. Scales; and his great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe J. Ponds, Mrs. Betty Felkel, and Mrs. Garris Norris. David was preceded in death by his sister, Violet Ann Ponds; grandfather, T.S. "Tom" Scales; and great-grandparents, Mr. Glenn Felkel and Mrs. Helen Shuler. A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, 7500 E. Arapahoe Road, Ste. 101, Centennial, CO 80112.

Greenlawn Memorial Park is one of Columbia's most historic perpetual care cemeteries. This gorgeous setting combines serenity, natural beauty, and diligent care for generations of families. North Lake, located in the center of our park, offers a water feature and is the site of many local events, including an annual Easter sunrise service, a Greenlawn tradition for over 50 years. The park also has a veteran's section, private family estates, a columbarium with niches for cremated remains, and an incredible granite mausoleum....
