Jack O'Neil Kyzer
February 10th, 1938 - July 28th, 2014
A Celebration of Life for Jack O'Neil Kyzer, Sr., 76 of Leesville, will be held Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 2:00pm at the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, 4720 Augusta Road in Lexington. Pastor Charles "Buddy" Pyles will officiate. The family will greet friends from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Hollywood Baptist Church Building Fund, 340 Hunters Lane, Saluda, SC 29138. Mr. Kyzer passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014. Born February 2, 1938 in Union, SC, he was a son of the late, Daniel O'Neil and Julia Marie Kyzer. He was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church in Saluda. Jack devoted his life to Christ and served Him wholeheartedly as a Pastor and a Bi-Vocational Pastor's Representative with the Southern Baptist Convention for South Carolina. He also led and taught discipleship training classes for churches throughout the state. Before becoming a pastor, Jack owned a successful electrical company, J & K Electric, and served in the U.S. Navy. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Mrs. Pat Kyzer of Leesville; sons, Jack (Gina) "Neil" Kyzer, Jr., Richard "Rick" Kyzer and Daniel (Tiffany) "Danny" Kyzer all of Lexington; daughter, Julie Kyzer of Leesville; brother, Don (Tena) Kyzer of West Columbia and sister, Debbie (Ronnie) Aguilar of West Columbia; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Greenlawn Memorial Park is one of Columbia's most historic perpetual care cemeteries. This gorgeous setting combines serenity, natural beauty, and diligent care for generations of families.
