Patricia Martin Williams
July 9th, 1946 - October 29th, 2013
CAYCE-Patricia Martin Williams, 67, of Cayce, SC passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013. Born in Vallejo, California, she was the daughter of Ruth M. Martin and the late Roy E. Martin. Pat graduated from Dreher High School in Columbia, SC and worked for the Hilton Head Company on Hilton Head Island for 10 years. Pat then joined R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company as one of the first female area Sales Representative in the Southeast. Pat retired from R.J. Reynolds in 1995 after 20 years of service. Pat loved her time at the beach and shag dancing with her loving husband, Frank. She will always be remembered for her special gift of caring and comforting her many special friends. Pat is survived by her husband Frank Williams; her mother Ruth Martin; sister, Lou Galloway (Keith); brother, Tony Martin (Betty); step-daughter, Dana Kelly (Rhett); granddaughters, Ashley and Macey Lawson, and Caroline and Campbell Kelly; nieces, Lindsey, Elizabeth and Brea; and nephews, Ben, Wes, Mikey and Brandon. Pat was predeceased by her brother, Mike Martin and step-son, Gene Williams. The family is grateful for the caring staff of Palmetto Health Hospice, Still Hopes Guignard Rehab Center and Stephanie Smalls and her special team of caregivers. Memorial service will be held Friday, November 1, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Providence Lutheran Church, 840 Old Chapin Road, Lexington, SC 29072. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210 or to the Palmetto Health Hospice, P.O. Box 7275, Columbia, SC 29201.
