James Harold Keith
July 9th, 1925 - October 20th, 2013
James Harold Keith, 88, of Columbia, entered into rest, Sunday, October 20, 2013 at NHC Healthcare, Lexington. Born Thursday, July 9, 1925 in Ballentine, SC he was a son of the late Berley and Maggie (Wise) Keith. Mr. Keith was a veteran of the US Army Air Force and dutifully fought in the Pacific Theater during WWII. Following his military service Mr. Keith went to work for Southern Bell and retired after more than 30 years of service, as a Product Data Field Coordinator. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Jean (Kimbrell) Keith; as well as a sister, Elizabeth K. Rease. Mr. Keith is survived by his brother, Ray M. Keith; niece, Loi Parsons (Tim) as well as many other nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 3:00 P.M., in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209 with Pastor Rusty Rabon officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M., at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, the day of the service.
