David Anthony Fulton
April 11th, 1936 - August 19th, 2013
COLUMBIA-A memorial service celebrating the life of David Anthony Fulton, 77, of Columbia will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2013 in Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Father Matthew Gray officiating. A visitation with the family will be held immediately following the service. A private inurnment will be held at a later time in Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Wounded Warriors Project in David's memory. Mr. Fulton departed this earthly life on Monday, August 19, 2013. He was born in Bradenton, FL to Robert E. Fulton and Henrietta Gasperment Fulton. Mr. Fulton was a former scout leader, children's football coach, a member of various career organizations and a member at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. During his career, he was the Chief Financial Officer for Richland County, Columbia Hospital, and Richland Memorial Hospital from which he retired in 1991. Mr. Fulton had a great love for his family, Richland Memorial Hospital, and his Carolina Gamecocks. He and his wife, Sylvia enjoyed their extensive traveling together to various places over the years. Mr. Fulton was predeceased by his parents; and his siblings, Ralph Fulton, Robert Fulton, & Norma Wright. Surviving are his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Sylvia Coats Fulton; his daughter, Sherrie Fulton; his son, Jim Fulton; a brother, Donald Fulton (Sandy); a granddaughter, Jennifer Fulton Hansen (Jason) and a great-granddaughter, Amelia; a host of other loving relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.

Greenlawn Memorial Park is one of Columbia's most historic perpetual care cemeteries. This gorgeous setting combines serenity, natural beauty, and diligent care for generations of families.
