GILBERT—Funeral services for Robert Glen Caulk, 65, of Gilbert, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Rev. Robert Jumper will officiate. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 5-8 p.m. Monday, August 12, 2013 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Red Bank Elementary School, Special Needs Program, 246 Community Drive, Lexington, SC 29073. Mr. Caulk, beloved husband of Janet Johnson Caulk, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2013. Born in Hartsville, he was a son of Mary Viola Find Langford and the late Peter Robert Caulk. He attended South Lexington Baptist Church and was a member of Sinclair Masonic Lodge #154. Glen retired from Ben Arnold Company after 34 years of service. He was a very loved and respected coach with the Cayce/West Columbia Football League and also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Glen was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and loyal friend who will be missed, but who has left us with the fondest of memories. Survivors in addition to his wife of 32 years, Janet J. Caulk; mother, Mary Langford; sons; Glen Paul Caulk (Carol) of West Columbia, Michael Shane Caulk (Elizabeth) of Lexington and step-son, James Wesley Haygood (Chresta) of Chapin; eight grandchildren; brothers, Sidney Langford (Shelia) of New Orleans, LA and David Langford of West Virginia; and a large and loving extended family. He was preceded in death by a beloved son, Joseph Todd Caulk and a sister, Judy Rhinehart.
