Brian Reid McMillion - Memorial services for Brian Reid McMillion, 32, of Gaston, will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, October 9, 2017 at the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Dr. Mark Bredholt will officiate. The family will greet friends from 3:00 - 5:00 PM, Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington. Brian McMillion passed away Monday, October 2, 2017. Born in Oklahoma City, OK, he was a son of Deborah Ellen Wright and Delwyn Gary Wright, Sr. He was a devoted and caring father who delighted in spending time with his young son. Brian was a loving man who will be missed by all who knew him. Brian enjoyed helping people; he had a big heart, and his friends and family meant everything to him. His main passion was music, whether listening to or creating music; and he was a self-styled rapper. Brian enjoyed painting, fishing, Frisbee golf and playing paintball. He called himself "The Grill-Master", and was a talented cook. Brian had a great sense of humor, and would do just about anything to make others laugh or smile. He served his country proudly in the US Army. In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by his wife, Kimberly M. McMillion; son, Jayden Christopher McMillion; sister, Veronika Lowe (Chalmer) of Hawaii; brothers, Derek Scheer (Jackie) of Maryland, Kenneth Crawford (Katie) of West Columbia, step-sister, Elisa Wright- Wilkosz (Cory); step-brother, Delwyn Gary Wright, Jr. (Jessica); Jilleien Franquelli (Colleen Rippey); nieces and nephews, Aidan Lowe, Nevan Lowe, Averi Lowe, Elliott Scheer, Connor Scheer, Isaac Scheer, Ella Pharr, River Sophia Crawford, Stephen Wright. Brian is also survived by a father-in-law, Randal K. Wright; mother-in-law, Betty Smith; sister-in-law, Taylor M. Wright; brother-in-law, Brandon K. Wright.
