Tony Ranall Hill was born on December 6, 1956 in Roanoke Rapids, NC to William Henry Hill and Carrie Pecolia Hill. He was called home to be with the Lord on March 5, 2018 at Piedmont Hospital in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He grew up in Emporia, Virginia on his family farm. He later moved Nassau County, New York with his mother where he graduated from Westbury High School. In August 1981 he married his high school sweetheart Anita L. Cunningham. Tony worked at Maaco in Freeport, New York as an Auto Repair Paint technician for many years. Working on cars, and motorcycles was his passion. He took his family to Englishtown, N.J. numerous times to race his beloved black and pink drag bike. His family always cheered him on. If you were looking for Tony he was not far. He was always in the garage working on his bike, preparing for a race. March 5, 2005 Tony suffered a debilitating stroke, and could no longer do things for himself. After his stroke he was relocated to South Carolina to be in the care of his Daughters, Sister (Brenda) and his Mother. Brenda was his primary caregiver. Once she passed he insisted his nephew Cedric Hill to take care of him. He is survived by mother Carrie Cleckley, his estranged wife Anita Hill, and daughters Anntanette Hill and Ashley Carter(Ramsey); 7 grandchildren: Amaziah (Marquise), Amarii, Dorian, Amayah, Christian, Amanii and Autumn; 5 brothers and sisters: Vickie Ussery, Donnie Ussery (LaDansa), Terrence Hill, Samaryah Jones (Robert) and Lamont Hill (Nakita) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Father William Hill, and sisters, Janice Hill and Brenda Hill. Tony will always be remembered for his great sense of humor and hardy laugh. He always had a joke or was playing a practical joke on someone.

Greenlawn Memorial Park

Greenlawn Memorial Park

Greenlawn Memorial Park is one of Columbia's most historic perpetual care cemeteries. This gorgeous setting combines serenity, natural beauty, and diligent care for generations of families. North Lake, located in the center of our park, offers a water feature and is the site of many local events, including an annual Easter sunrise service, a Greenlawn tradition for over 50 years. The park also has a veteran's section, private family estates, a columbarium with niches for cremated remains, and an incredible granite mausoleum....
