Due to his love of the ocean his cremated remains will be buried at sea by the US Navy. The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. “Mr. B” was also an avid chess set collector. One room in his home is dedicated to nearly 50 chess sets collected from around the world. In his later years, Rich became quite the wood turner. He was very proud as he designed and created his own chess sets from exotic woods. His dry sense of humor, wit and silly boyish grin will be greatly missed.
