COLUMBIA: A memorial service celebrating the life of Michelle Morris Goff, 50, of Columbia will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Fred Morris. On-line condolences may be sent to www.greenlawn-columbia.com. Michelle departed this earthly life on Saturday, March 16, 2013. She was born on October 10, 1962 to Joe Fred Morris and Kara Shubert Morris. Michelle was a loving, proud, and strong single mother to her two children, Chance and Ashley. Even through her tough battle with cancer, Michelle was a shining example determined to beat the odds. Michelle was recently baptized and she was very proud of this commitment of accepting the Lord as her Savior. Michelle was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Ian Rowland. Those left to cherish her precious memories are her loving children, a son, Chance Goff and her daughter, Ashley Goff; her parents, Joe Fred Morris and Kara Shubert Morris; a sister, Deeanna Rowland; a brother, Joe Morris (Robin); nephews, Kindrid Parker and Brandon Morris; nieces, Alyse Rowland and Cameron Morris; a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.

Greenlawn Memorial Park is one of Columbia's most historic perpetual care cemeteries. This gorgeous setting combines serenity, natural beauty, and diligent care for generations of families. North Lake, located in the center of our park, offers a water feature and is the site of many local events, including an annual Easter sunrise service, a Greenlawn tradition for over 50 years. The park also has a veteran's section, private family estates, a columbarium with niches for cremated remains, and an incredible granite mausoleum....
