WEST COLUMBIA—Funeral services for Brian F. Rose, Sr. 40, of West Columbia, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Holland Avenue Baptist Church. Officiating will be Pastor Charles Wilson. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2012 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Memorials may be made to Holland Avenue Baptist Church, 801 12th Street, Cayce, SC 29033. Mr. Rose, beloved husband of Cassandra Rochelle Turbeville Rose, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013. Born in St. Charles, MO, he was the son of Kenneth Francis Rose and Phyllis Peabody Rose Cole. He was a member of Holland Avenue Baptist Church and worked over 10 years at Southeastern Freight Lines. Surviving in addition to his wife, Cassandra Rose of West Columbia; father, Kenneth Rose of Chapin; mother, Phyllis Rose Cole of Florence; daughter, Ashley Michele Rose of West Columbia; sons, Brian F. Rose, Jr. and Matthew Tyler Rose both of West Columbia; brother, Jason Rose (Christine) of Lugoff; father-in-law, Melvin Sheppard and mother-in-law, Sandy Sheppard both of Wagener; brothers-in-law, Travis Turbeville (Alice) of Johnsonville and Danny Sheppard (Brandi) of Batesburg; nieces & nephews, Joshua and McKenzie Rose, Alexis, Tristain and Trevor Turbeville; Katelyn and Jaden Sheppard.
