LEXINGTON: A memorial service for Kenneth Wright, 50, of Lexington, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Greg Bolton. The family will receive friends 3:00-4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Wright passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013. Born in Spartanburg, he was the son of Betty J. Wright of Lexington and the late, Ret. Sgt. 1st Class J. A. Wright. He loved the Clemson Tigers and Dallas Cowboys, fishing and being a loving and caring father and grandfather. Surviving are his mother, Betty J. Wright of Lexington; daughter, Kendra L. Wright of West Columbia; son, Jason A Wright of Lexington; grandfather, A. J. Wright of Charlotte, NC; and the greatest Joy of his Life, his grandson, Wilder. He was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Wright and his father, Ret. Sgt. 1st Class J. A. Wright.
