Richard Wagoner
December 20th, 1950 - September 10th, 2017
Richard Wagoner, 66, passed away September 10, 2017 after a short battle with acute myeloid leukemia. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama. Richard was an RN for 20 years and actively involved with the Community Emergency Response Team of Lexington County. He was predeceased by his father, Edwin Wagoner. Richard is survived by Julia, his wife of 43 years; his mother, Mildred Wagoner of Alabaster, AL; and his brother, James Wagoner (Lois) of Georgetown, Texas; and several nieces. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Red Bank United Methodist Church in Lexington, SC. Visitation will follow the service. Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington assisted the family. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the General Fund, Red Bank United Methodist Church, 2909 Old Barnwell Road, Lexington SC 29073.
