February 19th, 1905 - October 2nd, 2012
Graveside service for Junia Anderson Gunter, 107, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 5, 2012, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, officiated by Reverend Jeri Katherine Sipes. Mrs. Gunter passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2012. Born in Cherokee County, GA, she was a daughter of the late James Francis Anderson and Emily Burtz Anderson. Survivors include her daughter, Frances Gunter Timbrook of West Columbia; four grandchildren, Terry Buxton Sadowski, Deborah Timbrook Purser, Diane Granger Jackson and Pam Granger Gale; four great grandchildren, Emily Victoria Buxton, William Christopher and Anthony Lee Brown and Ashby Gale; also four great great grandchildren, Angel, Taylor, Abigail and Kaylee. Mrs. Gunter was preceded in death by daughter, Beth Granger, son, Robert Lee Gunter, Jr. and sisters, Edna Delk and Jimmie Turner.

Greenlawn Memorial Park is one of Columbia's most historic perpetual care cemeteries. This gorgeous setting combines serenity, natural beauty, and diligent care for generations of families.
