GILBERT: Funeral Service for Sherry Sue Zalewski, 44, will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Chapel, officiated by Rev. John Hoppi, III. Serving as pallbearers will be Jesse Snelgrove, Casey Snelgrove, Scott Snelgrove, Martin Ray, Dalton Snelgrove and Trey Bedenbaugh. A private burial will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Little Mountain, SC. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Calvary Chapel Lexington Mission, 1156 Barr Road, Lexington, SC 29072. Mrs. Zalewski passed away Monday, September 17, 2012. Born in Oscoda, Michigan, she was a daughter of Robert Lee Snelgrove, Sr., and Billie Maxine Snelgrove. She worked as a surgical technician and registered nurse with Lexington Medical Center. Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Snelgrove, Sr., of Prosperity; her loving husband, Jeffery P. Zalewski of Gilbert; sisters, Barbara S. Kinard (Les) of Prosperity and Peggy S. Hendrix (Hal) of Newberry; brothers, Robert L. Snelgrove, Jr., (Wendy) of Newberry and Dean S. Snelgrove (Donna) of Prosperity; nephews, Johnny Bunn, III, Jesse Snelgrove, Scott Snelgrove, Dalton Snelgrove, Casey Snelgrove, and Martin Ray Snelgrove; nieces, Michelle B. Bedenbaugh, Kimberly Dominick (Henry), Meagan Frick, Kayla Snelgrove and Sierra Snelgrove; also her loving dog Isabell. Mrs. Zalewski was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Henry Hurtter Snelgrove, Mr. & Mrs. Ralph R. Sease; brother, Billy Ray Snelgrove and nephew, D.J. Bedenbaugh.
