Alexis Michelle Holmes, 29, of Lexington, South Carolina passed away peacefully August 6, 2017. She was born on November 17, 1987 in Columbia, South Carolina. Alexis is survived by her mother, Sheri (Fisher) Holmes of Hopkins; father, Donnie (Raelynne) Holmes of Lexington; her brothers, Adam (Heather) Holmes of Gilbert and Kyle Davis of Irmo; sister, Jessica (Hugh) Davis of Lexington; grandparents, John (Mary Lou) Tedder of Columbia, SC; her nephew, Declan Holmes of Gilbert; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 12-1PM. Funeral services will begin at 1PM at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park Serenity Gardens in Columbia. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her loving memory may be made to Heartworm Project P.O. Box 7308, West Columbia, SC 29171.
