Services for John Robert Robertson will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, February 27, 2012, at Greenlawn Funeral Home with interment immediately following at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Greenlawn Funeral Home from 6 - 8pm on Sunday, February 26, 2012. Mr. Robertson, 79, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012. Born in Hendersonville, NC, he was the son of the late Viola Williams and Edgar Robertson. He was predeceased by his wife of 37 years, Mary Ann Jackich Robertson and a brother, Jack Robertson. Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law Dale and Tammy Robertson; and grandchildren Patrick and Brittany Robertson of Lexington, SC; and his daughter and son-in-law Laura and Steve Foster of Elgin, SC. He is also survived by five siblings: sisters Alma Mallard of Charleston, SC; Maryalice Tyroff of Rutherfordton, NC; Betty Sease of Charleston, SC; and Shirley Ayer (and husband Richard) of West Columbia, SC; one brother Guy Robertson (and wife Angie) of Candler, NC; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
