Henry "Hank" Ritmeester

Henry "Hank" J. Ritmeester, Jr. COLUMBIA: Henry "Hank" J. Ritmeester, Jr., went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, October 27, 2011. Born in Rotterdam, Holland, he was the son of the late Henry J. Ritmeester, Sr., and Wilhelmina Roepers Ritmeester. He was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. He was a committee member of Young Life; graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology and received an MBA from the University of South Carolina. Surviving are his daughter, Chris Judy (Bud) of Granbury, TX and son, Cary Ritmeester of Haiku, HI; one grandson, Sam Loy of Vancouver, WA. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Nancy Brainerd Ritmeester. A service of Celebration will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 30, 2011, at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, officiated by Rev. Paul Poynor and Rev. Sam Goodwin. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson, NJ at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Young Life Columbia, P.O. Box 2920, Colorado Springs, CO 20901-2920.
