Willie "Mae" Adams CAYCE—Funeral services for Willie "Mae" Adams, 83, of Cayce, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Pineview Baptist Church. Officiating will be Pastor Brandon Sandifer, Pastor David Spires, and Pastor Mike Henderson. Burial will follow in Celestial Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, June 29, at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Heaven gained the most amazing angel June 26, 2011. Mrs. Mae Adams, widow of William Belton Adams, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2011. Born in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Cortez Taylor and Annie Presnell Taylor. She was a lifetime area resident and a member of Pineview Baptist Church. She was a member of the Joy Sunday School class, a much loved mother and grandmother. Surviving are her daughters, Kathy Adams and Karen Adams, both of Cayce; sons, William Michael Adams (Marie), Steve Adams, Richard Adams (Judy), all of Cayce, and Jim Adams (Susan) of West Columbia; four grandchildren, Jennifer Dress, Lisa Adams, Rich Adams (Holli), and Amanda Harrington (Adam); three great grandchildren, Adam Harrington, Jr., Cassidy Harrington, and Blake Adams. She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. Memorials may be made to Pineview Baptist Church Building Fund, 3010 Leaphart Road, West Columbia, SC 29169.
